Located on Amsterdam’s historic waterfront, Hotel Jakarta stands where ships once departed for journeys across the world. Today, the hotel reflects that same spirit of travel and cultural connection through a sustainable tropical design concept that blends Indonesian influences with contemporary European architecture.

For the hotel’s hospitality spaces, the Ovni Chair and Ovni Barstool by KDS, designed by Enrique Martí, were selected to complement the interior’s warm materials and flowing spatial language. Ovni’s sculptural oval form brings a sense of lightness and quiet elegance while offering the comfort required for everyday dining environments.

Within a hotel inspired by journeys between cultures, the Ovni collection becomes part of the narrative, supporting spaces where guests gather, dine, and experience the welcoming rhythm of Amsterdam.
